Children are the lifeblood of rugby and it is crucial that they are cared for in the correct manner. Any player under the age of 18 is classed as a child and should be respected as such.
As a caring responsible rugby club, Luton Rugby knows that children must be able to enjoy their involvement in a safe, friendly environment where there are opportunities to learn and develop rugby skills while also having fun.
All aspects of Luton Rugby Club work together, so as to ensure that young people enjoy rugby at Luton in a constructive environment.

Luton Rugby Club recognises the Roles & Responsibilities of statutory agencies in relation to safeguarding young people and promoting their welfare, and is fully committed to complying with the procedures of the Local Safeguarging Children’s Boards.
All Luton Rugby Club volunteers understand the requirements of a safe enviroment for children and young adults. Each team will have a suitabley qualified group of coaches and First Aider with valid CRB's in place. Phil Richardson
