Watford came up ours with an squad of 8 players , whilst Cambridge arrived with a squad around the same size as ours .
this week we had a bit more of a 1st and 2nd team look to our squads but unfortunately this did not seam to have the desired effect as our first game was a 20 - 10 defeat to Watford , followed by a 25- 10 defeat by Cambridge
but like last week we seamed to wake up after that and get our game heads on , with the outcome being a resounding 30-10 victory over Watford in the second game
alas it was not to last as we lost the final game 10-0 to Cambridge
there are some occasions were you have to hold your hands up and and
congratulate a better team and this sunday Cambridge were a better team on the day and from what I have seen this season one of the top 2 or 3 teams we have encounterd this year , BUT a side that we could be capable of beating if we knuckle down and train well.
after chatting with there coaches it turns out that they train 2 times a week so this explains why they a little ahead of our squad development wise
results
luton 10 - 20 Watford
luton 10 - 25 Cambridge
luton 30 - 10 Watford
luton 0 - 10 Cambridge
vertualy everyone chipped in with single tries this week
there,s a guard of honour happening for the first team this Saturday
as its the last home game of the season , so lets see if we can get as many squad members of the u9,s turning up for the occasion .
for those who cant make it , see you sunday morning at training
