New prop Oti Pifeleti had a dream debut as he went on to score four tries in the 104-0 victory at Newlands Road.

A penalty try, a score a piece from Matt Yang and Rik Hobbs, doubles from Jake Hobbs, Aiden Kenny and David Hamm and a hat-trick from Ryan Staff made up the reminder of the points.

The result means that Luton sit fourth in the Midlands 2 East (South) division with a game in hand on the teams above.

Pifeleti scored 30 seconds into the match as Dave Evans picked up a knock on from the kick off and went on a fantastic run before the prop forced his way over the line. Hamm converted the penalty easily.

Yang scored minutes later after a number of good phases of play he collected the ball from the ruck inches from the line and dived over to make it 12-0.

The referee then awarded Luton a penalty try adding another seven points to the score line.

Fly half Hamm was next to get on the score sheet as Rik Hobbs’ kick took a lucky bounce for Chris Davies, the centre found himself two-on-one with Hamm and the opposition full back, he opted for the pass to Hamm and he ran unopposed to dive over the line. Hamm added the extras.
Rik Hobbs then touched the ball down in the corner to make it 31-0, Hamm failed to convert from distance.

Dave Evans then picked up the ball at the back of a scrum and went on one of his trademark runs before passing it out to Staff and he to put the ball down for his first try of the match. Hamm missed the difficult conversion.

Nice passing play ending with a one-two between Kenny and Jake Hobbs resulting in the latter touching the ball down between the posts. Hamm converted easily within close range to make it 43-0.

Hamm scored his second try right on half time as he received the ball and squeezed in between two opposition plays and touched down between the sticks. He had no problem adding on the conversion.

Kenny made up for dropping the ball over the line in the first half as he burst down the wing early in the second and dived over the line on the corner. Hamm failed to convert

The winger scored again as he received the ball from Hamm and went on a good running avoiding a number of tackles to touch the ball down between the posts. Hamm went off injured but Rik Hobbs had no problem with the conversion to make it 62-0.

Jake Hobbs scored his second almost immediately after as he received the ball on the 22 before selling the opposition centre a fantastic dummy pass leaving his path to the touchline clear. Brother Rik converted well from beyond the 22-metre line.

Staff and Pifeleti shared the remained of the tries, the latter made it 74-0 as Evans took a quick penalty within close range, gave Pifeleti the ball and he avoided a tackle to dive between the posts. Hobbs added on the extras.

Staff scored his second try quickly after as he received the ball from the lineout bounced three tacklers and got over the line. Hobbs converted well again.

It was the props turn to score again as he got the ball from Evans and smashed his way through the Stewarts and Lloyds line to touch down between the posts. Hobbs had no problem with the simple conversion to make it 90-0.

Staff scored again as Evans went on a fantastic run from the halfway line, the scrum half layed it off Bryon Odell just before he was tackled, Odell then popped it up to Staff five metres out and he crossed the line. Hobbs took a quick drop kick to add the extras for the sixth time.

Pifeleti scored his fourth try and put the scoreline into triple figures as he sidestepped two tackles and hopped over the third to cross the line. Hobbs kicked brilliantly to make it 104-0.

Luton travel to third placed Belgrave on Saturday.
