Beds Festival 2014

A fantastic committed display of strong rugby from all the players on a beautiful sunny day at Dunstable.
We started very strongly beating Stockwood Park, this was followed up by a strong performance against Bedford. The side suffered an upset against Biggleswade, so we still ended 2nd in the pool. In the Cup semi final we played Ampthill like last year and after what was the best game of the whole competition lost by a single try pushing Ampthill to their limit. We then went on to play Biggleswade for 3rd/4th place and came away victorious, and getting revenge for the pool game loss. Great credit goes to all those that played, some crunching tackles showed the opposition that LRFC is not a team to be taken lightly, and some exciting attacking play was great to watch. Thanks to everyone for making it a fantastic day.
