Under 8's tough it out

Luton Under 8’s travelled to Hemel Hempstead Camelot in good form and faced very competitive opposition. Luton edged the day playing 8 matches, winning 4, drawing 1, with 3 defeats.
Luton Vipers started their day in impressive form winning 55-35, Man of the Match Nico Claridge ran in 2 tries, along with Toby Hunt, Tio Bankole, Ryan Swaine and Adina Hunter who all got braces, and Farrell Bennett who also went over the try line.
Viper’s second match saw them come back from 20-5 down to draw a thrilling match 40-40, Claridge got his second brace of the day along with Bennett who also scored 2, supported by Bankole, Swaine, Hunter and Lewis Read.
Viper’s put in a commanding performance in their third match that saw them come away with a superb 50-25 victory. Bennett bagged a hatrick, Hunter and Swaine both got braces, with Hunt, Claridge and Read all going over.
Viper’s last match saw them very unlucky to be edged out 30-25, Luton’s tries coming from a Sebastian Bennett brace and tries from Ben O’Hara and Sam Spary.

Luton Cobra’s got caught cold in their first match and went down 50-35. Leo Lyons ran in 4 tries, Callum Corley-Doyle grabbed a brace along with Shea O’Donnell who also went over.
Cobra’s bounced back in their second match which saw them earn a 55-30 victory, Corley-Doyle and Lyons both scored hatricks, Cian Llewellyn grabbed a brace along with O’Donnell and Charlie Roy who thundered over the try line and Jake Walker who put in an inspired display of rugby.
Cobra’s third match saw them come up against a tough Camelot team, which they went down 35-20,
Luton’s tries coming from Lyons and O’Donnell braces.
The last game of the day saw an experienced Luton side take on Camelot’s A team, Luton took an early lead, which Camelot couldn’t come back from, and a wonderful display of running rugby saw Luton run out 40-30 winners. Luton’s tries coming from a Corley-Doyle hatrick a brace from Hunt and tries from Read, Lyons and Hunter.
