Luton’s Under 8’s put on a 5 star showing at Northampton to finish the day with a 10O% record of Played 5, Won 5. Brackley RFC and Northampton BBOB struggled to contain an inform Luton team, that were committed in defence and showed plenty of flair attacking.
Luton Cobra’s kicked off the day with a 65 – 45 victory over Brackley B, tries came from Callum Corley-Doyle who ran in 8 tries, supported by Nico Claridge who bagged a hatrick, along with Toby Hunt and Shea O’Donnell who also went over.
Cobra’s Second match saw them face Northampton who were put to the sword 40-15, with Hunt scoring 4 tries, Ryan Swaine bagging a brace, supported by Corley-Doyle and Claridge who both grabbed a try each.
Cobra’s last match saw them face a good Brackley A side but a great defensive display by Luton led by man of the match Sebastian Bennett made sure Luton were always in control eventually running out 40-20 winners, Luton tries coming from Corley-Doyle 4, and tries from Hunt, O’Donnell, Claridge and Swaine.
Luton Vipers began their day brushing Northampton aside with a 30-20 victory Leo Lyons and Tio Bankole both grabbed braces supported by Lewis Read and a man of the match performance from Adina Hunter.
Vipers last game saw them play out a thriller that Luton edged 50-45 against Brackley A, tries coming from Bankole who notched 5, a Lyons hatrick, and a brace from Farrell Bennett.
