The Under 7s played their first home matches of the season against Hitchin and High Wycombe. We won 6, drew 3 and lost 5.

Our first home match day of the season saw the Under 7s hosting Hitchin and High Wycombe. We were lucky that the rain stopped just before we started playing and did not restart until we had finished.

Once again, we were able to split the players into four squads, and all had plenty of rugby to play. Most pleasing was the fact that no less than 14 of our players got on the score sheet. On the day, we won 6 matches, drew 3 and lost 6: not a bad return on the day's efforts.

As always, selection of the "Man of the Match" winners was very difficult. Awards were won this week by Harrison Yang who not only scored 11 tries on his first ever game, but was also brilliant in defence and grabbled loads of tags, and to Thomas Read who quietly got on with it in his usual manner: lots of tries, great defending, and playing his heart out.

Honourable mentions to Josh Wilton who also scored no less than 11 tries and to Ethan Shelley who got his first try of the season.
