Away to Stockwood Park with Dunstablians

Our last game before Christmas was the long trip to Stockwood Park; Dunstablians were also in attendance. A cold start made me doubt whether it would go ahead or not, but in the event we had a great morning, playing 7 games, winning 4 and drawing 3. This was our first undefeated game-day of the season. Most pleasing was the fact that all but one of our players scored tries. We will get to 100% real soon now. Congratulations to all our players. Scores and scorers are given below.

Everyone played very well and presented the usual difficulties in picking our "Man of the Match" winners. The Red Team in particular played as a team and it would have been unfair to pick out any one of them. Special thanks to Freddie for all his referee coaching, and to Daniel who really took on the "friendly" part of the day chatting to his mates in the opposition team. Big grins.

Our first award went to Ben - he does not play very often, but when he does, he really steps up to the plate, always consistent, tagging and scoring tries. Well done Ben. Our second award went to one of our youngest players, Colby who had a great game which saw him score a cracking try!
