Last matches before Christmas

Luton Under 7s visited Dunstablians on Sunday, 13th December for their last matches before Christmas. Stockwood Park were also in attendance. A special thank you to our Minions for really getting into the spirit of Christmas. Bananas!

We split our players into our usual three squads - Red, Green and White - and all three squads got three matches each. In nine games, we won eight and lost just one. How bad? Once again, we almost had a 100% score rate with 14 of our 16 players getting across the whitewash. Scores and scorers were as follows:

A big shout out to Callum. Callum joined the 100 Club by scoring over 100 tries in the season (already!) I am quite certain that he will not be the only 100 Club member this season.

Our Man of the Match awards this week went to Poppy and George. Poppy had a cracking morning, scoring tries, grabbing tags, and not putting a foot wrong all day. George's attitude was absolutely excellent all day, shrugging off injury to ensure that his team did not go a man down.

We take a break for Christmas and New Year and will resume on 3rd January with training.
